About the beach

The Torre Pozzella stretch runs from Santa Lucia to Lamaforca, on the coast of Ostuni towards Carovigno: over four kilometres of low cliffs and rocks, with small sandy coves. Overall there is little sand; the beachfront alternates free stretches with stretches with facilities, mostly on the rock.

Behind the coast there is a holiday village. Further south-east, already in the municipality of Carovigno, you reach Torre Santa Sabina, with its beaches and rocky shores.

The car parks are close by. From the cliffs you walk down to the sea, choosing the lowest points, and on the rocks you will need water shoes. In the sandy coves the seabed is gentler. The coast faces north: north (tramontana), north-east (grecale) and north-west (maestrale) winds make the sea rough, while with east (levante), south-east (scirocco), south (ostro), south-west (libeccio) and west (ponente) winds you are sheltered. Ostuni is a Blue Flag municipality.
