The Ecomuseum of Neviano’ sierras landscapes is dedicated to the utmost ramifications of the Murge Salentine, the stage of local history.
From the ancient Abbey of St. Nicholas in Macugno to the Church of Madonna della Neve, to the olive harvest and the traditional specialties, you can experience at first hand Neviano’s folk and religious traditions.
Starting from the Community map, you can discover the local culture through nature walks amongst olive trees and drystone walls, but also through environmental education projects, exhibitions and events.

L'Ecomuseo del Paesaggio delle Serre di Neviano è dedicato alle ultime propaggini delle Murge Salentine, che hanno un ruolo centrale nella storia del territorio 3. Il percorso comprende luoghi come l'Abbazia di San Nicola di Macugno e la Chiesa della Madonna della Neve, oltre a tradizioni popolari e religiose, alla raccolta delle olive e alle specialità gastronomiche 3. Parte dalla Mappa di comunità e propone passeggiate tra ulivi e muretti a secco, progetti di educazione ambientale, mostre ed eventi 3.
