A few hundred metres away from the town centre of Statte, there are two important Neolithic dolmens, dating back to the Bronze Age.
The first dolmen takes the name from the nearby Masseria San Giovanni. When it was discovered, at the end of the 19th century, they also found a human jaw. Today it stands in the scented understory, not far away from the gravina.
About 3 kilometres away from this dolmen, there is the one of Accettulla, which flanks the edge of the gravina Leucaspide.
