I canti popolari raccontano il peso della guerra: il dolore, i ricordi della violenza, l'angoscia di chi torna dal fronte. "Canti dal fronte" è un percorso di parole e musica dedicato alla memoria etno-musicale del Salento, che esplora queste testimonianze rimaste vive nella tradizione. L'evento, curato da Salvatore Colazzo e Luigi Mengoli e introdotto da Ada Manfreda, si tiene a Spongano il 4 novembre 2026 alle 19 nel trappeto di grotta Carrieri, in via Sant'Angelo. Una serata per scoprire come il popolo ha condiviso il dolore attraverso i suoi canti.
