In Ostuni, the solo exhibition of painter Mario Borrelli is scheduled, dedicated to the human figure and the relationship between anatomical construction, expressiveness, and pictorial quality. The exhibition journey places body and figure at the center as tools of visual research, with a focus on light, the formal construction of the image, chromatic rendering, and drapery, in dialogue with European pictorial tradition.
The exhibition, curated by Valentina Toscano with the collaboration of Nando Sorrentino, also includes a vernissage on Saturday, October 31, with moments of insight into the artist alongside the curators, Antonio Elia, Daniela Marra, and Luigi Cannone. The exhibition can be visited until November 15.
