About the beach
Lendinuso is one of the seaside districts of Torchiarolo and its beach is a continuous ribbon of sand more than a kilometre long, as far as the Canuta area. Behind it, for most of the way, are the dunes; the beachfront is almost all free, with one small stretch with facilities.
A little further north is Torre San Gennaro, Torchiarolo's other seaside district, where a 16th-century coastal tower, now gone, once stood and where the coast alternates long sandy beaches with stretches of rocky shore.
There are several car parks close by. The dunes are fragile and the coast is subject to erosion: reach the sea without trampling them. For the day it is worth bringing shade and water, because there are few services on the beach. The beach faces north-east: north (tramontana), north-east (grecale) and east (levante) winds make the sea rough, while with south-east (scirocco), south (ostro), south-west (libeccio), west (ponente) and north-west (maestrale) winds it is sheltered and the sea stays calm.
