About the beach

Le Canne is the stretch of Marina di Pulsano towards Leporano: about a kilometre of coast, low rocky shore with small coves of soft sand, about half a kilometre in all. The beachfront is split almost evenly between free beach and one beach club, which also takes up part of the rocky shore.

It is a coast of rocks and coves, suitable for those who love swimming and diving; on the rocks you will need water shoes. Marina di Pulsano, which grew up around its small bays, is a quiet village with a family welcome and large green areas; a few hundred metres from the coast is the Bosco Caggioni. Continuing west you reach the small harbour of Baia d'Argento, already in Leporano.

The car parks are close by, a few steps away, and there are several in the surrounding area. Facing south-south-west, it is sheltered with north (tramontana), north-east (grecale), east (levante) and south-east (scirocco) winds; with south (ostro), south-west (libeccio) and west (ponente) winds the sea gets rough. Pulsano is a Blue Flag municipality.
