The beach Egnazia – Case Bianche, along the coast of Fasano and easy to reach from the strada provinciale (provincial road) 90 which connects Savelletri to Capitolo, boasts the Blue Flag and 4 Sails (a prize given to the most beautiful beaches) of Legambiente (Italian environment protection association).
The locality takes the name from the ancient Messapic and then Roman town of Egnazia, whose ruins can be admired nearby the small sandy coves which alternate with low rocky coast. One of these, called Case Bianche (White Houses) is a private beach, also with services for people with disabilities, who can dive in the clear water thanks to job chairs.
Beaches with all the comforts alternate with the public one, which stretches for 5 kilometres and can be easily reached from the free car park or by bus, leaving from Fasano.
Also four-legged friends can enter the beach, with whom you can walk along the shoreline.
