Torre Vado takes the name from the sixteenth century coastal watchtower which stands a few metres away from the sea shore, over the small tourist port.
The locality is characterised by a low and rocky cliff, which alternates with a short beach with fine sand, nearby the tourist port and after the Sorgenti (water springs). Here, amid the low and flat cliffs, flows freshwater, which has been used since the past. The Sorgenti are the perfect place for a refreshing bathe in the clear and cold water.
The coast, which is really popular with private and public beaches, is characterised by shallow water, as far as a few metres from the water’s edge, which becomes deeper offshore.
