The ruined sixteenth century watchtower of Torre Pali, surrounded by crystal clear water, appears in the blue water, a few metres away from the coast.

Torre Pali, a marina of the municipality of Salve, is characterised by a long stretch of fine sand with a small and welcoming tourist port.

Private beaches alternate with public ones, lapped by the sea which boasts the Blue Flag and 3 Sails (a flag awarded to the most beautiful beaches) of Legambiente (Italian environment protection association).

As far as the Saracen tower, the coast is low and sandy, and then becomes rocky in the north, near the Isola della Fanciulla (the Island of the Girl), a cliff which has a rectangular shape and appears at the water level. According to a legend, a young girl was killed during the Saracen incursions, led by the pirate Dragut, and then thrown in the sea.
