Masseria Lella - La bianca d'Itria

Located in the countryside of Martina Franca, in the heart of the Itria Valley, Masseria Lella - La bianca d'Itria in Martina Franca is a complex consisting of buildings dating from different eras.\n\nOriginally built for breeding horses, cattle and sheep, a function evidenced by numerous feeding troughs carved into the dry stone walls, the structure was also used for cultivation and wine production in underground cellars, with ample spaces for arable land.\n\nThe complex, dating back to the 17th century, developed according to the model of a **sheep and field masseria**, with linearly arranged trulli and a tower-like building from the first half of the 18th century. This was later transformed into a residential palace and presents itself as a compact block with terminal pinnacles and, inside, a sequence of vaulted rooms.\n\nToday the masseria hosts a guest accommodation.
