The Crypt of the Santissima Trinità (Most Holy Trinity) is located in a huge olive grove that extends into the municipalities of Sava, Torricella and Maruggio. To reach the site you have to walk along a path about 3 km long. An impressive seventeenth century farm can be seen from the path, with semi-hypogeal oil presses, completely abandoned. Entrance to the crypt is by a staircase. Inside there is a small altar, built later and decorated with a contemporary painting of the miracle of Cecilia, the little shepherdess.
