Nel Blu is a show that traces the years of Italian economic boom through the figure of Modugno, the man who taught the world to “fly.” The performance intertwines music and words to tell, in a poetic and visceral way, that urgency of happiness that characterized an era. On stage, the strength, sweetness, and passion of an existence rich in temperament and stubbornness are brought back to life—capable of lifting the soul and making it dance. A show by and featuring Mario Perrotta, part of the 2026-27 theater season in Melendugno.
