Torre Baldassarra, Torre di Alfonso, Torre Colombaia e Torre Lupo

The towers, nestled in the territory of Marittima, once embraced the few existing houses, turning the inhabited village into a small fortress. Indeed, the village was also the target of a Saracen attack in 1573.\n\nThe Torre named after Francesca Antonia Baldassarra dates back to the 16th century. The interior consists of a single polygonal room with arrow slits and loopholes clearly visible at the top.\n\nTo reach Torre Baldassarra, you must go to Via Caduti Marittimesi, while Torre di Alfonso is located on Via Benvenuto Cellini. The Torre Colombaia towers are one on Via Vecchia Marittima Andrano and the other on Via Resistenza. Torre Lupo, on the other hand, is on Via Vicinale a Capo di Lupo and dominates the coastline.
