Palazzo Congedo in Galatina, owned by family Congedo during the 18th century, is characterised by the sixteenth-century style which embellishes the building.
Really interesting is the entrance hall, clearly modified, which is embellished with a characteristic balustrade of that time. This part, extremely regular, spreads out in a longitudinal direction, in a very uncommon way in comparison to the civil architecture in Galatina.
In 1973, next to the entrance hall, the first stone was laid to build a chapel dedicated to San Paolo and it was finished three years later.
