Violante Placido brings to the stage a performative tribute to Marilyn Monroe, exploring themes of loneliness and the conflict between the person and the icon. The show, scheduled at the Politeama Greco Theater in Lecce on 8 January 2027, combines singing, memories, and masks drawn from the Hollywood diva’s films. A powerful act that reflects on the invasive gaze of the audience and the rift between Norma, the woman, and Marilyn, the myth the world imposed on her.
