The Nutcracker - Russian Classical Ballet

The Nutcracker returns to Lecce with the classical ballet of the International Classical Ballet. Under the direction of Evgeniya Bespalova and Denis Karakashev, the stage of the Teatro Politeama Greco lights up with the stars of Russian dance. The work, inspired by the famous fairy tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann, tells the dream of a young protagonist and her encounter with a prince. Set to music by Tchaikovsky, the ballet unfolds in two acts that combine the poetry of the narrative with the technical virtuosity of classical dance.
