Description
Automatically translated from Italian.
On Sunday, January 24th at the Teatro Paisiello in Lecce, violinist Gabriele Ceci and pianist Luigi Ceci will present a recital dedicated to Beethoven. The program alternates between pages of luminous vitality and moments of intense drama: from the Sonata in E-flat major op. 12 no. 3 with its virtuosic dialogue between the two instruments, to the Carmen Fantasy by Pablo de Sarasate, a famous reworking of themes from Bizet’s Carmen. The concert culminates with the monumental “Kreutzer” Sonata in A major op. 47, one of the most demanding works in the chamber music repertoire. After the performance, the audience can extend the experience with an aperitif in the theater’s foyer.
